Stephanie Petak Herring

Stephanie Petak Herring went home to meet her Lord and Savior on July 20, 2023. Stephanie was born June 20, 1958 in Patterson, NJ and had enough sense to move south in 1973. She met and married the only love of her life, Joe Herring. They were wed on October 30, 1975, and have lived and loved for 47 years.

Stephanie had a zest for life and a love of service for the Lord. She was a candy striper, a Girl Scout leader and very involved with her church ministries.

She was called “Nana”, “Mom” and “Aunt Steff” by many of her “kids” in her life. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, swimming in her pool and sitting on her porch with her flowers.

Stephanie is survived by her husband Joe, and their children Summer, Joe “Rotag” (Tammy) and Seth. Her grandchildren Dakota, Layla, Shelby “Ellie”, Kodie, Nevaeh, Avrie, Kensley and honorary grandson Logan. She leaves behind a multitude of family and friends. Special thanks to Tammy Herring. Stephanie was so grateful for the outpouring of love and prayers during this season.
