KEYSTONE HEIGHTS — Come celebrate Smokey Bear’s 80th Birthday at Mike Roess Gold Head Branch State Park from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
There will be several activities to educate and promote prescribed fire, including a prescribed burn demonstration (11 a.m., weather-permitting), touch-a-fire-truck, Smokey Bear Storytime at noon, a meet-and-greet and more.
Program is free with paid park entry of $5 a vehicle.
