Pete Dick
Pete Dick, 62, of Fleming Island, FL went to be with the Lord on August 17, 2021. He was born on August 11, 1959, in Aux Cayes, Haiti to Leslie and Susan Dick and spent his early days going to school, swimming, riding his motorcycle, and being active at the mission station.
At 14, Pete returned to the states and went to Halladale High School and later Warroad High School. He graduated from Thief River Aviation School where he became a certified airplane mechanic. He eventually settled in Jacksonville, FL and worked in the Automobile industry. He spent over 20 years working in sales and later as a manager at Kings Crown Ford / Autonation. In 2009, he built on his sales experience and became a business owner of a Snap-on Tools Franchise. It was there where he was able to mentor mechanics and provide business suggestions to several Snap-on Tool franchisees.
Pete will be remembered by neighbors and friends for his ability to fix anything, skills he learned from his dad. He was always willing to offer his guidance and services to a friend in need.
Pete was married to Shelly (Hughes) Dick for 28 years and had two daughters Katelyn (Katie) and Kristie who he adored. His priorities were serving God, his family, and his career. His girls have so many fond memories of RV and boating trips, Snap-On conferences, and simply working together as a family. They shared his passion for the outdoors, adventure, and cars.
He attended First Baptist Church of Orange Park and Christ’s Church Fleming Island. He served God through his fellowship, guidance, skills and support.
He is preceded in death by his father Leslie Dick, brother-in-law Donald Vancas, sister-in-law Valerie Hughes and nephew Evan Lockner.
He is survived by his wife, Shelly, and daughters Katie and Kristie. His mother Susan Dick (Orange Park), Jonathan Dick (Susan) Lake Forest IL, Joan Lentini (Michael) Brunswick GA, Phyllis Vancas (Orange Park), Peggy Harder (Charles) York NE, Kathy Epp (Delwayne) York NE, Curtis Dick (Jacksonville) Brother-in-law to Frank Hughes, Latham NY and Tim Hughes (Lisa) Cohoes NY. He was Uncle Pete to many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Friday, August 27, 2021, at Broadus-Raines Chapel, 501 Spring Street, Green Cove Springs, FL from 6-8 with a prayer offered by Pastor Todd Bussey of Christ’s Church, Fleming Island. A memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church of Orange Park, 1140 Kingsley Ave, Orange Park, FL on Saturday, August 28, 2021, at 10:00 am with Pastor David Tarkington officiating and Pastor David Johnston delivering the message.
Interment will be at Jacksonville Memory Gardens, 111 Blanding Blvd, Orange Park, Florida 32073
In lieu of traditional remembrances, the family suggests donations be given to Clay County Younglife FL210, an organization his daughter was involved in and Pete supported. Young life is a Christ-centered ministry that helps kids know Jesus, grow in their faith, and serve him. Linda Lee (Marsh) Hurt
Linda Lee (Marsh) Hurt passed away peacefully on August 13, 2021 at her home in Fleming Island, Florida following a courageous battle with lung cancer. She was born in Eastport, Maine July 14, 1948, the daughter of Lester and Marion (Burke) Marsh. She graduated from Shead Memorial High School with the Class of 1966. Following graduation she moved to Portland, Maine where she met and married the love of her life, Gary Zane Hurt. They lived briefly  in Maine before moving to Key West, Florida. Lynn and Gary shared many adventures and travels as Gary served in the US Navy. They enjoyed life in Rota, Spain for 10 years where their two children were born. They moved back to the States in 1981 and settled in Green Cove Springs (now Fleming Island) Florida. Lynn worked in various jobs both over seas and in the States, the most recent at JAX Federal Credit Union before her retirement. The most important and rewarding role of her life, however, was being a mother and grandma.  Her joy, her light, her life were her three grandchildren. She loved them fiercely. She enjoyed membership in the Red Hat Society and her local Lunch Bunch gal pal social gatherings. She loved watching the birds at the many feeders in her beautiful back yard, and the metamorphosis of butterflies. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 54 years, Gary Hurt; son Michael and his wife, Jennifer; daughter Angela Love and her husband, Jon; grandchildren Lilly and Brendan Hurt, and Emma Lynn Love;  a brother Carl Marsh; sister Gwen Gray and her husband, Reid; also many nieces and nephews.
 A Memorial Service will be held September 2, 2021 promptly at 10:15 am at Jacksonville National Cemetary, 4083 Lannie Road, Lane One, Jacksonville, FL.

Richard Alan Boyer
Richard Alan Boyer, age 68, passed away on August 13, 2021, in Orange Park, FL. He was born to Robert and Imogene Boyer on July 26, 1953.
Richard grew up in Orange Park, FL, where he graduated from Orange Park High School in 1972. After graduation, he went on to be a carpenter, and became the successful owner of Boyer Demolition & Construction, Inc.
If you asked Richard, his greatest accomplishment wasn’t his career. It was being a father and a grandfather. Richard enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was generous and gracious and was always willing to help out if ever there was a need.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Imogene Boyer.
Richard is survived by his three sons, Shad Boyer, Tyson (Jennifer) Boyer, and Alan Boyer; his sister Cherry (Bill) Goodson, and brother Robert Boyer; and his grandchildren Christian, Isabella, Evelyn, Drake, Jack, and Journey.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm on Friday, August 20, 2021 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Reverend Paul Fowler officiating.

Raymond S. Dahms
Raymond S. Dahms passed away peacefully on August 20, 2021 at his home in Orange Park, Florida, with his family by his side. Born to the late Raymond and Vivian Dahms on March 3, 1944 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Raymond “Rusty” graduated from Hialeah High School in 1962, and then served in the US Army until 1967. Rusty married the love of his life, and wife of 52 years, Mary M. Koch, on October 31, 1969. He was a graduate of the University of Minnesota with a degree in Civil Engineering. Rusty proudly worked as a project manager at NAS JAX from 1983 until his retirement in 2018.
Rusty was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Vivian Dahms, and his brother, Paul A. Dahms.
Rusty is survived by his loving wife, Mary M. Dahms, his sister, Carol Hummiston (Thad), his brother, Donald Dahms (Lani Ray), his three children, Eric Dahms, Lars Dahms and Mary Karen Shaw (Allen), and his three grandchildren, Tyler, Clayton, and Kiersten.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the staff of Heartland Hospice for their exceptional and loving care.
The family is foregoing a memorial service in lieu of a Celebration of Life to be scheduled at a later date.

Bonnie Elner Lambert Beeson
Funeral service for Bonnie Elner Lambert Beeson was held at 2 p.m., Friday, August 20, at Riverwood Family, with interment in Pleasant Grove Church Cemetery. Visitation was from 11:30 a.m. until the time of service.
Ms. Beeson, 88, of Orange Park, passed away August 14, 2021, in Brookhaven, MS. She was born in Brookhaven July 31, 1933, to Elmer Napleon Lambert and Lillie Bell Hampton Lambert.
She was a member of Pleasant Grove Church. She was also a member of VFW, Moose Lodge, and Orange Park Medical Center Auxiliary Volunteers. She worked 25 plus years as Loan Officer with Vystar Credit Union, (formerly Jax Navy C.U.)
She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Donald Lambert, and Connie Lambert; and her former spouse, Charles B. Beeson.
She is survived by her son, Charles “Randy” Beeson (Annette); daughters, Cathy Beeson Bridge (Kim), and Vicki Beeson Kelly (John); sisters, Nonnie Crawford, Donnis Holmes; six grandchildren, Joe Kelly, Kristy Perry, Tyler Bridge, Jeff Kelly, Nick Bridge, and Stephanie Beeson. He is also survived by 17 great grandchildren, one great, great grandchild and one sister-in-law, Esta Lambert.

Emil Charles Di Motta, Jr
Emil Charles Di Motta, Jr made his final flight to his heavenly home on Wednesday, August 18, 2021.
Born to Emil C Di Motta and Noreen O’Shaughnessy Di Motta on November 22, 1938, in The Bronx, NY, he was the oldest of three children.
Emil was educated in the Catholic school system. He briefly attended CCNY before graduating from the United States Naval Academy in 1962. Emil proudly served his country in Vietnam as a Naval Aviator with VP28 Hawaiian Warriors and as a project test pilot.
In 1963, Emil married the love of his life, Grace Gilbert, in Newtown Square, PA. Together they raised a loving family of seven children, and celebrated 58 years of marriage. Emil was a dedicated husband and father who took great pride in his family. Emil was a member of Rotary Club of Fleming Island, Smoke N Guns Tampa FL. , and Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Fleming Island. Emil also enjoyed smoking cigars, drinking red wine, and playing poker at Island Girl Cigar Bar Fleming Island.
Emil is preceded in death by his father, Emil C Di Motta, his mother, Noreen O’Shaughnessy Di Motta, and his sister, Barbara Di Motta Pesci.
He is survived by his wife, Grace, their 7 children: Dawn (John), Sean (Heather), Edward (Whitney), Emil (Staci), Grace (Dan), Mari-Elean (Michael) & Dana (Joe). His 14 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and by his sister, Maria Elena Di Motta Alvaro (Robert). He was loved by many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
A Celebration of Emil’s life will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, September 18, 2021, 5 pm.

Larry W. Lipham
Larry W. Lipham, 72, passed away peacefully Tuesday, August 17, 2021 in Ocala, FL. Larry was born in TX and grew up in Gainesville, FL working in his parents store Lipham Music Store selling equipment to many famous talents that got their start out of Gainesville.
Later, he worked in the food industry. Larry retired in 2019 and moved to Silver Springs, FL with his loving partner, companion, and fiancé, KC O’Neil. He enjoyed entertaining his friends, playing card and board games. Larry set an example of putting others first. He had that smile and look in his eyes, yet always a sense of calm. He is loved by many extended family friends and will be forever in their hearts.
Larry is preceded in death by his father, Theron Velford; and his mother, Florine “Dinky” Lipham.
He is survived by his loving companion, fiancé, KC O’Neil; brother, Buster Lipham (Cheryl); His close and dear first cousin, Janice Matthews and her family from TX. A memorial service will be held August 29 from 1p.m. - 3 p.m. in Green Cove Springs, FL at Nana’s House.
