MIDDLEBURG – Thanks to the Middleburg Civic Association, 267 children will return to school with new backpacks and supplies after Saturday’s Giveaway at the club’s headquarters. Each child got a ruler, pencil, eraser, and pencil sharpener from the Clay County Sheriff’s Office and notebooks, crayons, paper, glue sticks, colored pencils, and other supplies from the association and other volunteers. Children were invited to get their vision, blood pressure, weight and other health questions checked.
