TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – University of Alabama gymnast Lilly Hudson, who graduated from Fleming Island High, earned a spot on the SEC Winter Academic Honor Roll.
A combined total of 34 members from the Alabama men’s (13) and women’s (21) swimming and diving teams received the recognition. Both squads are coming off a successful season, including top-25 NCAA Championship finishes – 19th for the men and 23rd for the women.
To earn a place on the honor roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.0 or better grade-point average for the preceding academic year or their career and be a sophomore or better academically. The winter list honors student-athletes who participate in men’s and women’s basketball, equestrian, rifle, gymnastics, swimming and diving.
