ORANGE PARK – Courtyard Jacksonville Orange Park has completed an extensive $2.5 million renovation project.

Located just off I-295 on Wells Road, the hotel is surrounded by picturesque waterside running paths and marinas.

Boasting proximity to popular Jacksonville attractions such as the Jacksonville Jaguars stadium, the Jumbo Shrimp baseball team, and the Icemen hockey team, as well as the Orange Park Mall and esteemed medical centers including the Orange Park Medical Center and the Baptist Medical Center Clay, the hotel offers unparalleled convenience to its guests. Moreover, Jacksonville International Airport and the beaches are just a 30-minute drive away.

Under the management of Olympia Hospitality since 2017, this 16-year-old hotel embarked on a transformative renovation journey in 2023. The comprehensive overhaul includes updated guestroom furniture, state-of-the-art 55-inch flat-screen TVs, and refreshed interior finishes. Notably, guests will enjoy the newly introduced signature bar and redesigned lobby area, exuding contemporary elegance and comfort.

The meeting rooms have been revamped with modern carpets, stylish wall coverings, and upgraded banquet furniture, while the Fitness Room underwent a complete revitalization, featuring enhanced lighting, new TVs, and cutting-edge workout equipment. Additionally, the hotel expanded its offerings, now boasting 116 guestrooms to accommodate its discerning clientele.

Rick Cadena, the hotel’s General Manager, shared insights into the renovation process, stating, “Unlike most Courtyard properties, our hotel features a distinct bar area, meticulously crafted with new millwork and furnishings, along with a revamped back entrance to enhance guest accessibility to the lobby.”

Further enhancing its appeal, the hotel now showcases a spacious ballroom and pre-function area, capable of accommodating up to 150 guests, which underwent a comprehensive refurbishment. Catering to a diverse clientele, including military personnel and their families, government contractors, and healthcare professionals, the ballroom serves as a versatile venue for various events ranging from receptions and family reunions to military gatherings and corporate meetings.
