GREEN COVE SPRINGS – Wells Fargo Banks nationwide opened their checkbooks Wednesday to support Habitat for Humanity projects, including a build on Houston Street. Led by Green Cove Springs Branch Manager John Campbell, as many as 20 employees from surrounding branches and volunteers with James Boys Ministry spent the day painting a house being refurbished to help a needy family with a home. Wells Fargo spent $7.5 million nationwide and targeted 350 builds. Clay County Habitat for Humanity received $15,000 from the bank.
