Nicole Marie Brown, 32, of Palatka, was charged with possession of morphine, methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia, as well as trafficking fentanyl, while Danny Scott McGuirt, 38, of Palatka, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting law enforcement after deputies found them parked in an open lot on Country Road 209. When deputies entered a gate, McGuirt attempted to run but was quickly apprehended.
According to the arrest report, a search of the car unveiled a morphine pill, pipes, syringes, fentanyl and methamphetamine.
Brown’s bond was set at $158,011, while McGuirt is being held without bond.
