KEYSTONE HEIGHTS – After receiving multiple complaints from residents concerning a local business selling vapes and other nicotine products to underaged customers, Clay County Sheriff’s Office Dep. Jon Timpe organized and planned an operation that targeted the business.
Between September and November 2023, CCSO Patrol units, along with Agents from the State of Florida’s Alcohol, Beverage and Tobacco Agency, conducted undercover operations at Keystone Smoke Shop at 7427 State Road 21.
Those operations were successful in uncovering illegal sales of nicotine products to underage persons. As a result, the owner of the business, Samir S. Musharbash, was charged by ABT with selling nicotine products to persons younger than 21. The business will face additional administrative sanctions through the State of Florida’s Department of Business and Professional Regulation.
