GREEN COVE SPRINGS – By any standard, this year’s Clay County Agricultural Fair was an enormous success. Here are some snapshots of the 11-day affair, which included exhilarating rides from Deggeller Attractions, tasty options from more than 100 food vendors, shows and exhibits featuring more than 1,000 animals, halls filled with goods and handmade crafts, a trip through the turn of the century Early Florida Village where blacksmiths, yarn spinners and quilters still make goods by hand and entertainment throughout the complex. Fair-goers even had the chance to witness the partial solar eclipse on Monday, April 8. Mark your calendars for next year's Fair, from April 3-13.
