Letter to the editor: How can we build an ADA park in Keystone Heights?

I wanted to what needed to be done to get an American with Disabilities Act accessible field at Little Rain Lake Park in Keystone Heights?
As you know, we are at the southern end of Clay County and it isn’t convenient to travel all the way to Orange Park. Are there any grants or programs that could get an ADA field in Keystone Heights? Perhaps it’s something we can partner with our surrounding counties in Putnam, Alachua and Bradford.
I have a nephew with autism and currently my sister must drive to St. Johns County to play the baseball league “Field of Dreams.” It would be wonderful to help with the special needs in the southern end of Clay County.
