GREEN COVE SPRINGS – A man behind bars at the Mayo Correctional Institution for possessing child pornography was returned to Clay County on March 2 to face similar charges.
Charles Douglas Clark, 57, of Orange Park, was charged with five counts of possession of child pornography and for using his cellphone to facilitate a felony in Clay after an investigation revealed Clark had five “photograph, motion picture, exhibition, show, representation, image, data, computer depiction or other presentation” on May 20, 2022.
According to court records, he was charged on May 24, 2022, in Lafayette County with eight counts of having child porn on his phone and with three counts of felony aggravated battery and one count of having child porn on Dec. 15, 2022, in Duval County.
Clark will be in court on April 1 to face the Clay County charges. Until then, his bond is $525,018.
