GREEN COVE SPRINGS – A Keystone Heights man already in the Clay County Jail after being charged on May 14 for trafficking methamphetamine and leading the Clay County Sheriff’s Office on a high-speed chase now faces new charges of having two counterfeit credit cards.

Joshua Aaron Soto, 28, was charged with possession of two payment instruments with intent to defraud on May 31 after deputies found credit cards with the names of two women in his wallet after he was arrested 17 days earlier.

According to the arrest report, the credit cards were created to match real cards owned by the victims.

Soto’s new combined bond is $450,012, counting the additional $2,503 counterfeit bond.
