CLAY COUNTY – Cars started getting in line more than three hours before the first bag of food was distributed at Celebration Church last Saturday as part of the Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service. Across the county, volunteers with Impact Clay, The United Way and Feeding Northeast Florida were loading bags of food, including ice cream, during a drive-through event at Francis Vera Hall Park in Green Cove Springs. “Celebration Church is just one of our professional food distribution sites in Orange Park,” said Impact Clay CEO Connie Thomas. “Today was a perfect fit to come together and collaborate. This was an awesome day.”
