GREEN COVE SPRINGS – Haley Parks developed an app for the U.S. Air Force to assist trauma medics on the battlefield in monitoring multiple patients’ vital signs in the field to allow seamless data transfer. For that, the Green Cove Springs native was selected as the Hero of the Day Friday at the Clay Agriculture Fair. Vice Chair for Early Florida Village Bill Elrod joined Parks and Office Manager Karen Brown in the daily presentation at 5 p.m. in Early Florida Village.
