The Easter tradition returns this Sunday with events that include the ceremonial Easter celebration and family-friendly events throughout Clay County.
Here’s what’s happening:
Friday, March 29
• David Allstar Gym Easter Egg Hunt and Party will be at 8725 Youngerman Ct., Suite 301, Argyle Forest, from 7-9 p.m. The event includes a glow-in-the-dark Easter egg hunt.
• Hop in to see Easter Bunny at the Orange Park Mall, 11 a.m.-7 p.m. near JC Penney. Register at whereisbunny.com, but walk-ins are welcome.
Saturday, March 30
• Easter Egg-stravaganza at Allegra Fleming Island, 3651, U.S. Highway 17 from 12:30-3 p.m. Event includes cupcake decorating, crafts, photo opportunities, Easter egg hunt, food, desserts and drinks.
• Asbury United Methodist Egg Hunt at 16 College Dr., Orange Park, at 11 a.m. The event includes an Easter egg hunt, crafts and games.
• Bunny Bonanza at Skate Station at 230 Blanding Blvd., Orange Park, from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Event costs $13.95 and includes a Skate Scramble.
• Calvary Kids Easter Eggstravaganza at 9 Knight Boxx Road, Orange Park, from 10 a.m.-noon. The event includes three Easter egg hunts for different age groups, food, games, inflatables, prizes, face-painting and giveaways.
• Clay High’s Link Crew and Family Church of Green Cove Springs’ Easter egg hunt on the football field will be from 10-10:30 a.m. The school is at 2025 State Road 16.
• Family Storytime and Egg Hunt at Green Cove Springs Library, 403 Ferris St., will be from 10:30-11:30 a.m. The event will include storytelling, songs, learning about chickens and rabbits, followed by an Easter egg hunt.
• Middleburg Martial Arts Easter Egg Hunt, 2360 Blanding Blvd, 10-11:30 a.m. The event will include an Easter egg hunt, photo booth and ninja star throwing.
• Mossman Hall Easter Eggstravaganza, 301 State Road 26, Melrose, noon-2 p.m. The event includes an Easter egg hunt and arts and crafts.
•Ripple Effect Martial Art’s Easter Egg Hunt, 1851 Golden Eagle Way, Fleming Island, 20-11:30 a.m. The event includes an Easter Egg hunt, ninja star throwing, photo booth and crafts.
• Seagrass Village Easter Extravaganza, 1949 East West Pkwy, 10 a.m.-noon. The event includes Easter egg hunts, crafts, games and Easter bunny photos.
• The Melrose Church Easter Egg Hunt, 5807 Hampton St., 1 p.m.-4 p.m. The event includes Kona Ice, a bounce house, games, crafts and an Easter egg hunt.
