Green hair for a day
FLEMING ISLAND – The Interact Club at Fleming Island High recently held a food drive for Food Pantry of Green Cove Springs. Students competed by grade level to earn the honor of choosing which school administrator would get to wear a green wig for a day. Thanks to Patricia Anderson’s biology classes, the freshmen donated the most non-perishable goods – more than half of the total 811 items – and won the honor. For the dubious honor of wearing the green wig, they chose Assistant Principal Roger Dailey, shown here.
