Down 21-0 at half, Clay came back, but lost 42-20 to Eastside in district 5-5A action. RB Al'Querious Ray rushed 12 times for 144 yards and three scores; all in the third quarter. WR D'Maurion Frazier had three catches for 21 yards plus seven tackles.

St. Johns lost 52-6 to Bronson.
Team leaders for Spartans for three games (Bronson not available at press time) include Deuce Williams, 84.7 yards rushing per game, Joey Gomory, 163.5 yards passing per game and Robert Maytin, 12 tackles per game.
In the Spartans 30-22 win over Warner Christian on September 20, Gomory had a season-high 242 yards passing with four touchdowns including a 79 yard play. Williams had 130 rushing yards against Warner and held a 6.5 yards per carry avergae through three games.
Junior wideout Max Arnold leads the team with 11 catches in three games for 243 yards with three scores; one a 79 yard play.
Top tacklers are Liam Bielik with 28 stops in three games and Arnold with 21 tackles. Kyle Boylston has four interceptions.
Game of the Week: Monroe outduels Justino: Panthers 26, Broncos 24. Fourth quarter drive steals game; Monroe to Miller corner of end zone.
