ORANGE PARK - Hundreds of runners, many with a sweet tooth, ran last Saturday for the Donut Get Caught 5K to support the Clay County Police Athletic League. The morning started with a fun run, followed by a 5K for more experienced runners. Clay County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Bryan Maylon (left) enjoys a two-fisted reward of fried dough and sugar. Event coordinator CCSO Deputy Eva Solis (below, left) shows off her doughnut antlers, while a group of runners enjoy their doughnut reward following their runs. Below, runners, including Sheriff Michelle Cook, pick up their doughnut medals at the finish line. The run was sponsored by the Orange Park Mall, W.J. Sapp, Hanania, Farah and Farah, Avecina, 904 Happy Hour and CVS Restroom Rental.
