Blue Devils win 17th title
The Clay High Blue Devils’ wrestling team shows off their district 3-1A championship trophy after putting 14 wrestlers into Saturday’s Region 1-1A championship in Tallahassee. Clay finished with 13 district champions and one fourth place finisher.

Middleburg High freshman Marcus Floyd rolled in the 400 and triple jump to a fast season start.
Oakleaf High sprinter Nick Roberts dominated the 100 meter dash with an 11.25 winning time over Marcus Floyd of Middleburg who finished second in 11.32. Roberts also ran on two winning relays for the Knights.
Oakleaf High shotputter Ciara Walker heaves for a 37’-1.5” win at Panther Invite. Walker finished fourth in discus.
Clay High’s Autumn Null finished third in shot put with 30’-2” put and also fifth in discus.
Keystone Heights miler Riley Dingman leads out first lap of 1600 meter run with Fleming Island’s Grace Cuthbert and Oakleaf High’s Briana Olazabal and Madison Sgro in chase. Olazabal finished second to Columbia’s Bridget Morse. Dingman took fourth.
Fleming Island 400 meter runner Aubrey Burke, also a Golden Eagle basketball player, runs by teammates on the fence at the Panther Track Invite. Burke finished seventh.
