MIDDLEBURG – It took Andrew Nebesnyk a week to set up the Christmas display at his house at 1886 Breckenridge Blvd., and he’s been tweaking the massive spectacle for more than another week – all in preparation of Lights for Wyatt on Thursday, Nov. 14. His house and yard are engulfed in lights, and there are moving lights, displays and projections that attract hundreds of passersby every night. The main reason he went to such extremes is to support a teacher at nearby Swimming Pen Elementary, whose 18-month-old son is battling brain cancer. The child’s event will be from 6-9 p.m., and it will include photographs with Santa Claus, the Christmas light display, treats, a foam machine, a bounce house and more. While there is no cost, donations will be given to the family, Nebesnyk said. The Light It Up Christmas Display lasts nightly until 10 p.m.
