Angry neighbor arrested after scuffling CCSO deputies
MIDDLEBURG – A man who’d been feuding with neighbors turned his aggression on Clay County Sheriff’s Office deputies on April 4, leading to an assortment of arrests that resulted in a bond of $200,514.
According to CCSO, Terrance Tyron James, 51, of Middleburg, was charged with two counts of battery on sheriff’s office deputies, resisting a deputy with violence, breach of peace and depriving a deputy of means of protection or communication after a neighbor called about him yelling at them while they were in their driveway.
When deputies arrived, they heard James screaming and using profanity, and they determined he had breached the peace. When they attempted to stop him, he pushed one deputy and grabbed a deputy’s radio microphone. He also elbowed a deputy in the chest, which caused her taser and holster to become dislodged. During the scuffle, he was tased four times before entering his house.
He eventually surrendered and was booked into the Clay County Jail.
