FLEMING ISLAND – The Barco-Newton YMCA on Fleming Island along with the help of several local sponsors held a Back-to-School event for more than 600 local military families where they provided backpacks, school supplies and fun activities for over 650 children. New YMCA Branch Executive Jon Dearolf said “I’m amazed at the amount of families we have here today, I love helping the community and truly thank the local sponsors who came out today to help make this event possible,” said Branch Executive Jon Dearolf.
