GREEN COVE SPRINGS – Winn-Dixie and the Winn-Dixie Gives Foundation partnered with St. Augustine Distillery to recently donate nearly 200 one-liter bottles of the distillery’s locally-made hand sanitizer to police and fire departments serving on the frontline in Clay County.
The Clay County Police and Fire Rescue departments will be presented with their hand sanitizer donation at Winn-Dixie store to help keep responders safe and healthy while taking care of their local communities.
With further appreciation for their hard work and sacrifice, the Winn-Dixie Gives Foundation will also present each department with a $100 gift card to help stock their kitchen pantries.
This donation is part of a larger effort to provide nearly 2,000 one-liter bottles of St. Augustine Distillery’s hand sanitizer, to frontline warriors serving the First Coast in Duval, Clay, St. Johns, Nassau and Flagler counties. The hand sanitizer was produced locally by St. Augustine Distillery to fulfill the critical needs of the community and help reduce the spread of COVID-19.
