CCSO: Middleburg custodian arrested for selling drugs in school parking lot

MIDDLEBURG – A 30-year-old custodian at Middleburg High was arrested on Aug. 21 after she sold 20 Suboxone pills to an informant in the school’s parking lot, the Clay County Sheriff’s Office said.
Kristen Michelle Howard, of Middleburg, was charged with the sale and delivery of a Schedule II prescription within 1,000 feet of a school zone. Her bond was set at $50,003.
According to the arrest report, the informant and an undercover detective met Howard on Aug. 19 in the parking lot to buy $200 worth of pills. The money was provided by the Narcotics Task Force.

Woman held without bond after nights of burglaries, carjacking

ORANGE PARK – A woman who was investigated for having several cellphones, bags, debit and credit cards and identifications belonging to other people eventually was charged with armed robbery and carjacking on Aug. 22 after a man was robbed of his BMW at gunpoint.
Kimberly Pearlean Bridges, 23, of Alachua, was ordered to remain in the Clay County Jail without bond.
The man had just arrived at his job at Orange Park Medical Center when another man robbed him with a handgun of this belongings and car in the parking lot at 5:45 a.m. Clay County Sheriff’s Office deputies conducted a traffic stop of a Hyundai after the victim said he saw a white car also leaving the scene. When they found the items cluttered throughout the car, deputies sealed the car for further investigation and took two women occupants to the Orange Park substation.
Bridges admitted the three had burglarized more than 100 cars in Jacksonville on Aug. 21. She said the man who carjacked the victim said he was a member of the “33rd Street Gang.”
CCSO said Bridges told them she and another woman waited in the parking lot until their accomplice stolen the victim’s car.

Expired tag leads to several drug charges for Orange Park man

ORANGE PARK – A man was arrested for a variety of drug-related charges after she was stopped on Wells Road Aug. 21 with an expired license tag.
Doryan Esteban Pierce, 24, of Orange Park, was charged with possession of cocaine, tampering with physical evidence, possession of marijuana with intent to sell, possession of Oxycodone and driving with a suspended license.
According to the Clay County Sheriff’s Office, Pierce tried to throw cocaine onto the backseat of his car during the stop. Deputies searched the car after a K-9 alerted them of the odor of narcotics. Inside, they found 22.3 grams of marijuana that had been divided into six plastic bags, 11.5 grams of cocaine and a bottle with Oxycodone.

Woman in jail after stabbing her boyfriend

ORANGE PARK – A woman was arrested Aug. 24 after Clay County Sheriff’s Office deputies said she stabbed her boyfriend in the shoulder.
Erica Janina Pickett, 37, of Orange Park, was charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. She was in the Clay County Jail with a $75,003 bond.
According to the arrest report, the victim had a wound in his left shoulder and a cut on his right hand. Pickett had a cut on her left rib area.
