Michelle Perrie

Michelle Perrie, 42, of Palatka, FL, passed away September 3, 2017. She was born on November 25, 1974 in Palatka, FL to parents, Leonard and Dale (Phillips) Taylor. Michelle was a lifelong resident of the area and a member of the Shiloh Baptist Church. She loved her family, had a heart of gold and she enjoyed horseback riding and doing barrel racing with her children and niece. She was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and aunt.

Michelle is survived by her parents; her husband, John Perrie; sons, Michael Knowles, Christopher Perrie (Savannah Goodson), and Colden Perrie; daughter, Michrista Perrie; brother, Louis Taylor (Aimee); sister, Amanda Johns (Lee); niece, Erin Johns and grandchildren, Michael Fedricks and Chloe Geoghagan. She is also survived by Johnny and Joyce Knowles "Papa and Granny J".

Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm on Friday, September 15, 2017 at Shiloh Baptist Church with Pastor Marc Swarthout and Pastor Keith Stewart officiating. Frederick D. Sweringen, 78, died August 29, 2017 at his home.  He leaves his wife Shirley, his daughter Shannon Sweringen, his sister Patricia Petro of San Juan, Ca., and sister Nancy Davies of Fleming Island, Fl.  He also leaves several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.  Fred was born and raised In Youngston, Ohio the son of Mary and Burt Sweringen. He was a soloist for many years starting in school and sang in the church choir as well as performing at weddings and events. After serving four years in the navy, Fred worked for IBM until his retirement.  An honor service will be held September 17, 2017, at 3:00p.m. at the the VFW, 2296 Aster Avenue, Middleburg, Fl .
