Janie Marie Newton Altizer
Janie Marie Newton Altizer, 82, passed away on December 14, 2020 surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Nash County, NC and was a Supervisor at the Navy Exchange. She was devoted to her family and loved to have them around her.
Janie was survived by her loving husband, Charles “Chuck” R. Altizer; 4 children: Terri (James) Sanchez, Daniel (Jodie) Altizer, Sheila (Ronald) Kirstatter and Judy (Jim) Campbell; grandchildren: Tara (Ryan) Ramsey, Jay Sanchez, Vanessa Fernandez, Sabrina (Anthony) Ayers, Nicole Altizer (Randall Barry) , Lisa Altizer, Shane Altizer, Shauna (Bryan) Wright, John “Trey” (Courtney) Gates, Jenny Gates, Mike Campbell and Billy Campbell; great-grandchildren: Robby Ramsey, Rachel Ramsey, Marlee Sanchez, Maelyn Sanchez, Tanner Fernandez, Judah Ayers, Juliette Ayers, Elijah Barry, Emily Barry, Taylor Barry, Caiden Barry, Weston Wright, Avery Wright, Georgia Wright, Olivia Gates, Jae Gates, Amelia Gates, Dallas Pryor, Stephen Campbell, Matthew Campbell, Ashley Campbell, Noel Campbell, and Mikey Campbell; and a host of extended family and friends. A Celebration of her Life will be held at a later date.

Ann Marie (Patsie) Waggett
Ann Marie (Patsie) Waggett died in the hospital on Sunday, December 27th, 2020.
She is survived by many who loved her deeply including her four daughters Barbara Jacques, Kathleen Nunnelly, Hope Waggett and Jerri Lynne Smith as well as twelve grandchildren Freya, Lance, John Richard, Sydney, Ann Marie, Dale, Duncan, Warrin, Lydia, Rileigh May and Patton who brought her great joy. She is also survived by her three sisters and brother Geraldine Weilacher, Therese Cofer, Christine Tyler and Joe Weilacher. Her first great grandchild will arrive in 2021.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years John Henry Waggett in 2013, her sister Dorothy Jean Shaffer, her brother Paul Weilacher and her parents Barbara (Liedl) and Herman Weilacher.
She lived most recently at Lockwood of Fenton in Michigan and previously at the Mount Nittany Residences in State College, PA.
She and John enjoyed living in Orange Park, Florida from 1987 through his death in 2013. Patsie and John grew up and met in the DuBois, Pennsylvania area and raised their four girls in Edinboro just south of Erie, Pennsylvania.

A private family service was held on Thursday, Dec 31st at Sharp Funeral Home in Linden, Michigan.

Jerry Clyde Kemp
Jerry Clyde Kemp of Fleming Island, Florida, beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend to many passed away on December 25, 2020 at Haven Hospice in Orange Park.
He was born June 1, 1945 in Phillips, Texas to Julian Clyde Kemp and Ellen Lillian Huston Kemp. He graduated from Coushatta High School in Louisiana in 1963, where he played football and ran track.
Jerry received his Bachelor of Science degree in agri-business from Northwestern State College in Natchitoches, Louisiana in 1968, where he was selected for Who’s Who in American Colleges and Universities and was active in student government.
He enlisted in the Navy in 1967 and reported to Pensacola, Florida for Officers Candidate School and Flight Training in 1968. He was a flight instructor, a maintenance officer and test pilot, serving in the Navy until 1973.
Jerry was employed in veterinary pharmaceutical sales for 28 years, with Upjohn Company, Hoechst Roussel and retired from Novartis in 2001. He became a volunteer with Clay County Habitat for Humanity upon his retirement and had in excess of 6,000 recorded hours of work on home sites over the next 19 years, serving in various positions on the Board and as President of the Board.
He was selected as Clay County Volunteer of the Year in 2012 for his work with Habitat. Jerry volunteered until his illness forced him to stop, because he believed that everyone deserved a safe place to call home. Jerry was honored as Public Citizen of the Year in 2018 by National Association of Social Workers, Florida Chapter. He was a member of the Duval Golf Association for many years. Jerry was predeceased by his parents Julian Clyde Kemp and Ellen Huston Kemp, and his brother Jay Duane Kemp.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years Wanda Willis Kemp. They enjoyed life and traveled to many fun places with Jerry doing all the planning. He is also survived by his son Richard Kemp and his wife Angela. Three wonderful grandchildren: Thya, Max and Amari were a huge part of his life and Gramps was the one who made all the plans for summer fun when they visited. He will be missed by other family members and his many friends and neighbors. He was always willing to stop and make time for others.
Due to COVID concerns, no service or visitation is planned. Memorialization will be by cremation. A celebration of Jerry’s life will be planned for a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a memorial contribution to Clay County Habitat for Humanity in his honor or to the charity of your choice. Albert Lewis Snedaker, III
Albert Lewis Snedaker, III, passed peacefully in Jacksonville, Florida on December 29, 2020, at the age of 62.
Albert is survived by his wife, Christine Snedaker; daughter, Adriana Snedaker; son, Albert Lewis Snedaker IV; brother, Jeffery Snedaker; and sisters, Diane Snedaker Spyker and Linda Snedaker.
Albert was born on May 26, 1958, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to Albert Lewis Snedaker, Jr. and Emily Dorothy Gibson. He attended Ursinus College, where he graduated with a degree in Economics in 1980. Albert went on to have a 33 year career with the Federal Aviation Administration, retiring to Fleming Island, Florida in 2013.
In his free time, Albert enjoyed listening to music and talk radio, riding his bicycle, writing, and rooting on the Philadelphia Eagles. Albert was also a passionate wrestling dad who could be found sitting on the side of the mat at every meet.
His favorite place in the world is Wildwood, New Jersey, where he spent his teenage summers working as a roller coaster operator. When Albert had children, it became a family tradition to travel back to Wildwood every summer to create new memories with his children.
Albert lost his battle to Intrahepatic Cholangiocarcinoma, a rare and aggressive bile duct cancer. In celebration of his life and to honor his memory, Albert’s family is asking for donations to the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation in lieu of flowers.

John Joseph Hall
John Joseph Hall, 63, a resident of Palatka, FL, died peacefully in his sleep Jan. 2nd, 2021.
He was a beloved father and grandfather, and friend to many others that knew him as a kind and generous soul. Originally born in Mobile, AL and grew up in Daphne, AL. He spent the second half of his life in North Florida where he served as the Chief Operating Officer and Vice President of Mobro Marine, where he was employed since 1987.
He was a man of great faith and lived to serve those dearest to him. He was an avid traveler, always knowing someone everywhere he went. John was known most for his love of the air and the sea. He was a pilot since the age of sixteen and had the good fortune to visit several continents and sail almost every ocean. Aviation and boating were his passions, only second to his family which he loved wholeheartedly.
John was preceded in death by his father, Robert Hall and mother, Evanelle Hall, both of Daphne, AL.
His survivors include 3 children, Amanda Jill Szwajkos (Michael), John Derek Hall (Kari), Jason Matthew Hall (Amanda), and stepdaughter Meredith Todd-Weed (Aaron).
Grandchildren Abbie Grace Todd – 13 of Dothan AL, Ryleigh Noel Hall – 6, John Ryan Hall – 4 of St. Augustine, FL and Jack Wyatt Szwajkos -3, Eli Miles Szwajkos -1 of Bluffton, SC
2 brothers – Jay Hall (Nancy) and Jim Hall, both of Fairhope, AL
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, January 9, 2021. The details of the location of the service are TBD.
