Danny Mosley
Born on August 13, 1954 in Jacksonville, Fla., Danny went to be with the Lord on April 19, 2017 after a long battle with cancer.
He was survived by his mother, Virginia Mosley Nobles and his stepfather, William “Bud” Nobles; his two sisters, Linda Downs and Deborah Plaster and several nieces and nephews. Danny was dearly loved by all his family.
He was an avid racing fan who loved Richard Petty and Kevin Harvick. He was also known for making everyone laugh. The family would like to say a special thank you to his cousin Billy “Squirrel” Mosley who stood by him to the end. In addition to his aunt Shirley Robertson who stood by him and also loved him dearly.
Another special thanks goes to Pastor Jamie Wyatt and all the saints that prayed diligently for Danny at Middleburg Church of God on the hill. And thank you to Lee and Boonie Tathum for making Danny’s last few weeks so special. He could not stop talking about it and he loved you guys so much!
Another big thanks goes to Farley Jr., Marion and Jeremy Austin and Wendell Manning for taking care of the Mosley residence and cows while she was away. And finally, a very special thank you to everyone for the prayers, cards, flowers and the delicious food that was provided in Danny’s memory. We will never be able to thank you all enough for your kindness and support on behalf of Danny. And Glory to God for speaking to Danny’s mother at the funeral assuring her that Danny was in God’s presence.

Nora Lee Bloedow

Nora Lee Bloedow, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and a long-time resident of Orange Park, Fla., went to be with the Lord on May 12, 2017. She was born August 22, 1942, in West Virginia, to the late John and Velma Haynes.
She was a coal miner’s daughter. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, John Haynes.
Nora married James Bloedow on May 20, 1961 in Winchester, West Virginia. James was a carrier Navy man and Nora was a Navy wife for over 20 years during his service.
She worked at various jobs in her life, but her most prominent was starting her own successful billing service for Emergency Room Physicians of Orange Park and the Beaches. She was an avid FSU sports fan and enjoyed watching football, golf and old movies. Nora’s most proud accomplishments were being a mother to her two children and grandmother to her four grandchildren.
Nora will be missed dearly by her beloved husband of 56 years and by all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband, James Bloedow of Orange Park; son, James Bloedow, Jr. (Jami) of Orange Park; daughter, Dianna Coday (Greg) of Tampa; four grandchildren, Greg Coday, Jr., Tyler Coday, Cassidy Coday, and Haley Bloedow; nephew, Dr. James Haynes (Barbara) of TN.; sister-in-law, Mary Andrews and many nieces, nephews and close friends that she loved.
She will always be remembered for her kind, generous and loving heart.
A private family service will be held in her honor.

Joseph L. McIver
Joseph L. McIver, 72, of Orange Park, Fla., formerly of Warsaw, N.C. died May 8, 2017 at Orange Park Medical Center, Orange Park.
Funeral service was held 1pm May 13, 2017 at Kenansville Eastern Baptist Association, Warsaw, NC. Interment and Military Honors was held in Devotional Gardens Cemetery, Warsaw.
Mr. McIver is survived by his wife Lizzie McIver, children: Tonia, Tanisha, Joseph Jr, Sheldon, and Marcus. 10 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren. Five siblings: Gloria, Joyce, Esther, Moses, and Earl with a host of other relatives and riends. Arrangements by Hawes Funeral Service, Warsaw, N.C.
