Agnes Virginia Aultman Turner  

1919 ~ 2019

 Agnes Virginia Aultman Turner died Feb 2, 2019 surrounded by family in Green Cove Springs, FL. She was born March 29, 1919, in Bainbridge, GA, to William Cicero and Fareby Eugenia (Harrell) Aultman. She attended Pine Hill School, Georgia State College for Women and the University of Georgia. She taught school at West Bainbridge, Pine Bloom, and Leary, GA. She and her high school sweetheart, Dewey Clevie ‘Doc’ Turner, were married 66 yrs when he died in 2007.  After they wed in 1941, they operated a ‘rolling grocery store’ for Settles Bros. in Leary, GA and farmed. Clevie, was deployed to Cairo, Egypt in WW II as a medic in the Army in the African-Middle East theatre. Agnes and their child, Marsha Ann, moved to Camp Blanding, FL, where Agnes worked on the ‘Home Front’ in the alterations of military clothing at her in-laws' laundry. Clevie returned in 1946; they made their new home in Green Cove Springs and for the next 33 yrs owned and operated the Liberty Red & White IGA Grocery. Son, Terry Glynn, blessed their lives in 1949. Born a Methodist, Agnes was a member of First Baptist, where she taught in the junior dept, and later attending Orange Ave, then Hibernia Baptist churches. She was a member of the Eastern Star, Garden Club, numerous bowling leagues, boat club, and the Women's Club. ‘Doc’ always felt like he struck gold when he married his dear Agnes and always said ‘they never made another like her’. Agnes’ claim to fame was her genuine sweet spirit and her passion as an immaculate seamstress; she spent hours creating quilts, clothing, drapes, and her daughter’s wedding dress. Agnes is predeceased by her husband, parents, sister, Mildred Rogers, brothers, Morris and Owen and their wives Clara and Emmie. She is survived by her children: Marsha Owens (David) and Terry (Deborah); a sister-in-law, Pat Turner, of Pensacola; and five grandchildren: Terrianne (Cary) Dicks, Laurie Lee (David) Burke, John (Joybeth), Todd (Penny), and Ryan (Jenny) Turner; 14 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews & cousins.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at 1 pm in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Dr. David A. Howell officiating.  The family recieved friends from Noon until service time.  Interment will follow immediately at Hickory Grove Cemetery on Hwy 16 West, Green Cove Springs.

Randy Wayne Knotts
Randy Wayne Knotts, 56, passed away on February 10, 2019, in Orange Park, Fla. He was born in Oakland, MD. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force, and created a career at Pegasus Technologies, Inc., where he fulfilled multiple roles in the avionics department and then later as the general manager.
Randy is survived by his wife of 35 years, Debbye Knotts; his daughters Danielle Knotts and Shannon Knotts; honorary son, Corey (Jenn) Lee; honorary granddaughter, Audrey Mae Lee; parents, Peter Paul Knotts, Jr and Dianna Knotts; sister, Tina (John) Angland; nephews, Jesse and Dylan Angland, and niece, Leigha Angland.
Graveside services were held in Mount Storm, West Virginia, at the Kitzmiller Family Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the Wounded Warriors Project or Vested Interest in K9s, Inc.

Darcey Eugene Moser, Jr.
Mr. Darcey Eugene Moser, Jr., 88
of Jacksonville, passed away Friday, February 15, 2019. Mr. Moser was born September 21, 1930 in St. Louis, Missouri to parents Darcey Eugene, Sr. and Georgia (Balton) Moser.
He was a longtime resident of Clay Hill and was a member of the Congregational Holiness Church in Green Cove Springs.
Darcey served in the United States Navy and retired as senior chief.
In his spare time he enjoyed attending auctions, antiquing, singing and loved horses and parrots. Darcey lived his life always working for God.
His parents preceded him in death. Survivors are his wife, Melody (Frank) Moser of Jacksonville, children, Victor Moser (Darlene) of Lawtey and Amanda Highsmith (Joey) of Jacksonville, sisters, Charlotte Colombo and Merlde Rhodes, brothers Charles Edward Moser and Victor Melvin Moser (Sue), and many grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and extended family.
A visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Friday, February 22, 2019 in the Helm-Gallagher Funeral Home Chapel, 1811 Idlewild Avenue, SR 16, Green Cove Springs.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 23, 2019 at the Congregational Holiness Church, 2079 SR 16 W, Green Cove Springs, with Reverend Ronnie Surrency officiating.
Burial will follow in the Hickory Grove Cemetery.

Kerry ‘Ozzie’ Todd Oswald
Kerry “Ozzie” Todd Oswald, 55,
of Green Cove Springs, Fla. passed away on February 14, 2019. 

He was born in Rockport, MO and moved to Jacksonville in 1982. He met the love of his life, Lisa, in 1995; they married on Valentine’s Day in 1996 and moved to Clay County Florida. Kerry found his work family in 2006 for Rulon International and remained a dedicated and loved employee there until his death.
He loved his wife, his family, his dog Tebow, and cats Snookie, Snuggles, and Street. He also loved his Florida Gators, Missouri Tigers, Kansas City Chiefs and occasionally the Jacksonville Jaguars when they had a winning season! He also had a passionate love for animals and really was a true animal whisperer.
Kerry was preceded in death by his mother Rowena Harrington Smith.
He is survived by his wife Lisa of 23 years and her dysfunctional family that he inherited the day they married.  Brian (Ameila) Moore, Ashley Moore (Lee Bussen), Jesse (Veronica) Moore, Danielle Moore (Nathan Craun), the grandchildren he adored, Logan, Julissa, Jaden, Jesse, Jack, and Madalyn. 
Other survivors include his brothers, Roger Oswald, Ron Oswald, Kim Smith and father Richard Smith.
Memorial Services will be held 6 p.m. Friday, February 22, 2019 in the Chapel of Russell Haven of Rest Funeral Home.
