ERIC EDENFIELD

Eric Edenfield, 32, of Bostwick passed away accidentally on Thursday, January 23, 2020 in Palatka.
Eric was born in Jacksonville and grew up in Middleburg. He was a 2005 graduate of the Middleburg High School. He had formerly worked for J.E.A. in Jacksonville as a lineman and had recently returned from California where he worked with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers as a lineman. He was a Conceal Carry instructor and was a member of the N.R.A. He owned and operated Daily Defense Solutions. An avid motorcyclist, he had logged 50,000 miles on his Harley-Davidson since 2015. Eric attended the Rock Bible Church in Middleburg.
Preceding him in death were his paternal grandparents, Edward Edenfield and Nadine Bartlett.
Surviving are his parents, Pastor Leon and Janice Edenfield; two sisters and brother-in-law, Sarah and Kevin Reinhardt, and Alana Edenfield; his maternal grandparents, Joe and Nola Howard; a niece and three nephews, Peyton, Asher and Deacon Reinhardt, and Rhaylen Edenfield.
Calling hours will be 6-8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 27th at Masters Funeral Home in Palatka. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 28th at St. Johns Baptist Church located at 938 West River Road, Palatka with Pastor Leon Edenfield and Pastor Paul Edenfield officiating. Burial will follow in Bostwick Cemetery.

Cmdr. George Center
Cmdr. George Center, 98, went to be with his Lord on January 17.  He lived comfortably in his home until two days before his death, passing peacefully in the care of Community Hospice with son John at his side.
George was born in Decatur, Georgia, and he attended Georgia Tech.  He was commissioned lieutenant in the United States Navy in 1942, and during his dedicated service was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross, Silver Star Medal, Air Medal with Gold Stars, and World War II Victory Medal. He retired in 1964.  George was a 60 year charter member of Orange Park Presbyterian Church, serving as Elder, Sunday School teacher, and in the choir. 
He will be missed by son John Center, daughter Elaine Kicklighter (Elliott), grandchildren John Hill Center, Lace Center Cruze(Josh), Michael Kicklighter(Tina), Candace Kicklighter Slezak, and great grandchildren Dallas Cruze,. Stephen Slezak, Tyden and Reese Kicklighter, and many cousins, nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by Eleanor, his beloved wife of 69 years, and son George.
Memorial Service will be on Saturday Feb 1 at 12 noon at Orange Park Presbyterin Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Orange Park Presbyterian Church, Orange Park, FL.
