Donald “Don” Crews Wainwright
Donald “Don” Crews Wainwright, age 83 of Starke, Florida passed away on January 15, 2021 in Green Cove Springs, FL.
He was born in Belmore, Florida on May 10, 1937 to the late Newnan Crews Wainwright and Leila Irene Moody Wainwright.
Don was raised in Belmore and graduated from Clay County High School. After graduation, Don joined the United States Army National Guard where he proudly served for 27 years. He was stationed at Camp Blanding working in the Combined Support Maintenance Shop.
Don initially met Sharon, the love of his life, while working in the same platoon. Years later, on October 6, 2001, they were happily married. Don was a hardworking man who enjoyed his longtime military career and also a long career as a Field Technician at the Florida Wildlife Commission where he served for 40 years.
When Don wasn’t working, he enjoyed volunteering with the Starke Volunteer Fire Department and the Kingsley Lake Volunteer Fire Department. He was also previously active at the BHS Band Boosters in the 70’s and more recently with the Starke Country Club.
Don loved being outdoors, fishing, golfing, grilling, handiwork, and carpentry. More than anything, Don loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them all.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Foy Wainwright, Nita White, Doris Underwood, and Merle Walker; and brothers, Alan B. Wainwright and Norris “Chip” Wainwright.
Don is survived by his loving wife, Sharon Wainwright of Starke, FL; his children, Kathy Ann Agan of Starke, FL, Jeffrey D. Wainwright of Fort White, FL, Kathy Long of Starke, FL, and Duane Simpson of Sunrise, FL; sister, Hazel Ryan of Green Cove Springs, FL; brothers, Maxie (Nora Lee) Wainwright of Lake City, FL and James “Grady” Wainwright of St. Augustine, FL; grandchildren, Shannon Brooks – Warren, Lyndsey (Adam) Milligan, Matthew Simpson, Candice (John) Tyson, Amanda (Matt) Ryan, Jacob Wainwright, Jared (Lethia) Wainwright, and Remy Simpson; great grandchildren, Cameron and Myles Milligan; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Foncie S. Carver
Foncie S. Carver, 74, of Keystone Heights, Florida passed away on January 14, 2021 into the Lord’s loving arms.
She is survived by her wonderful mother, Evelyn B. Shubert, and loving son, Mark Howard. She is also survived by her brother Carroll “Coby” (Donna) Shubert, Jr., brother William “Bill” (Brenda) Shubert, sister Evelyn “Sue” (Calvin) Cail, as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Foncie retired from the Bradford County Courthouse in January 2015 where she had wonderful friends and coworkers. She enjoyed working outside in her yard as evident of all the beautiful flowers. The “Fonz” was a very special lady and will be greatly missed.
A graveside memorial service will be held at Hardage-Giddens Holly Hill Memorial Park, 3601 Old Jennings Rd., Middleburg, Florida on Friday, February 5, 2021 at 11:00 a.m.

Naomi Bryant
Naomi entered eternal life at age 99 on January 21, 2021. She was born February 18, 1921 in Meadville, Pennsylvania, one of six children of Georgiana and Rev. Samuel Roth.
Her late husband, Marcus Otterbein, was a Lutheran Pastor. Her college and university studies were at Carthage College and Northwestern University. As a dedicated educator, her focus was literacy and reading. She was a tutor trainer for Laubach Literacy as well as being active in many religious and civic organizations including Delta Kappa Gamma for women educators.
In 2017, Naomi was honored the Valiant Woman Award by Church Women United for her life of service.
Naomi is survived by her devoted husband James Clyde Bryant. They moved to Penney Farms in 1994 and immediately felt the Penney Farms spirit of volunteering by sharing their talents and love of travel.
Naomi is the loving mother of 4 children: Eric Otterbein (Carol), Susan VanBurk (Jim), John Mark Otterbein (Debbie) and Scott Otterbein (Diane) and step-daughter Patricia Brandt (Bill).
Naomi was blessed with 13 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to PRC Residents Aid fund, P.O. Box 354 Penney Farms, Florida 32079.

Gary Wayne Everhart, age 40, born in Orange Park passed away on January 8, 2021.
Gary was loved by all and had a big heart always helping others. He graduated from Clay High School and was an A/C Tech.
He is survived by wife Rebekah Everhart, daughter Miranda Everhart, and son Kayleb Everhart, mother Donna Fish, father Roy Fish, brother Logan Fish, grandmother Brenda Everhart, father-in-law James Palmer, mother-in-law Becki Palmer. He was preceded in death by mother-in-law Sharon Goodwin and father-in-law Edwin Goodwin.
Service is scheduled for January 29 at 3:00, Christ Love Community Church, 3212 Moody Avenue, Orange Park 32065
