GREEN COVE SPRINGS – Even America’s symbol of freedom needs to break for lunch, however, it’s not something we always get to capture with a camera. Corey Hardin, 25, of Orange Park, was fortunate enough to get a shot of this beauty last week while on the job in Green Cove Springs. “I just set my iPhone up where they usually come to steal scraps from the buzzards that are out there. I continued working while my phone recorded. This is one of the two eagles that come around there,” said Hardin, who works as the water/wastewater plant operator for the City of Green Cove Springs. “It was somewhat expected for at least one of the eagles to likely show up, but not to get a good shot of them.”
