MIDDLEBURG—Clay County Parks and Recreation announced on Thursday that Foxmeadow Recreational Park will soon be receiving a new playground.
Construction is underway to demolish the old one and the project is set to be completed this year. The county said that the park will remain open, but they ask those in the community to stay clear of the construction area.
The news comes following the Board of County Commissioners' approval of a $168,180 project to also demolish and reconstruct two of the park's tennis courts into pickleball courts.
