CLAY STATE OF HEALTH: April 11 at Thrasher-Horne Center, 283 College Dr., Orange Park, from 110:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Florida Department of Health in Clay County will give preliminary results of the county’s overall health to prioritize the top issues.
CLAY COUNTY DEVELOPMENT REVIEW: Meeting will be April 11 at the Zoning Department Conference Room on the third floor of the county administration building, 477 Houston St., Green Cove Springs, at 10 a.m.
JUST US GIRLS LUNCHEON: Is April 11 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Holiday Inn and Suites, 620 Wells Rd., Orange Park. Annabelle from Annabelle’s Interiors will teach defense, and Joyce Hall, owner of the Hall Closet, will be the inspirational speaker.
PASTORS AND CHURCH APPRECIATION: for Resurrection Christian Life Center will be April 12 at the Courtyard Marriott, 610 Wells Rd., Orange Park, from 6:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. Pastors Jonathan and Stephanie Bryant will host a banquet, featuring “69 Boyz.” Tickets are $40 and available at the church at 3114 County Road 220, Middleburg.

DINING OUT FOR LIFE: On April 25 will be NFAN's 14th annual DINING OUT FOR LIFE® in Jacksonville. For that one day, 25 percent or more of your check will be donated by the restaurant to help support NFAN's services to HIV/AIDS clients and their families. CHEERS CAR SHOW: to benefit K9s for Warriors is April 28 at Cheers Park Ave., 1138 Park Ave., Orange Park at 11 a.m. Entry fee is $10 for K9s for Warriors and $20 for preregistrations.
EMPTY BOWLS EVENT: for Clay County Women’s Auxiliary is April 30 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Orange Park United Methodist Church Family Life Center, 2051 Park Ave. The event will feature lunch served in ceramic bowls created by local students. Visitors will be allowed to keep their bowls. Cost is $20 a ticket, with all proceeds benefiting the Clay County Salvation Army Food Pantry. A silent auction and bake sale are part of the program.
