Clay residents earn academic honors
MELBOURNE, Fla. – The following local residents have been named to the Spring 2017 Dean’s List at Florida Institute of Technology.
Emily Broom and Jarrod Broom, both of Middleburg, met the requirements to be included on the Dean’s List. Dean List requires a student to complete 12 or more graded credits in a semester with a semester grade point average of at least 3.4.
Founded at the dawn of the Space Race in 1958, Florida Tech is the only independent, technological university in the Southeast.

Stockton named to Provost’s List
TROY, Ala. – Sarah Stockton of Fleming Island was named to the Provost’s List at Troy University for the spring semester of the 2016/2017 academic year.
The Provost’s List honors full-time undergraduate students who are registered for at least 12 semester hours and who have a grade point average of at least 3.65.
Troy University is a public university with more than 145,000 alumni.

Clay students graduate from Florida Gulf Coast University
FORT MYERS, Fla. – The following local residents recently were graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University.
Joshua Taylor of Middleburg graduated with a master of science in nursing from the Marieb College of Health & Human Sciences and Jourdan Bernard of Orange Park graduated with a bachelor of science from the College of Arts and Sciences.

Belmont University announces Dean’s List
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The following students achieved the Dean’s List at Belmont University for the Spring 2017 semester. Eligibility is based on a minimum course load of 12 hours and a quality grade point average of 3.5 with no grade below a C.
Katherine Kruzan and Amanda Young, both of Starke, made the Dean’s List
Approximately 30 percent of Belmont’s 7,700 students qualified for the Spring 2017 Dean’s List.

Fisher named to spring Dean’s List
GREENSBORO, N.C. – Kyle Thomas Fisher of Orange Park was named to Greensboro College’s Dean’s List for the Spring 2017 semester.
To qualify, a student must have a 3.5 grade-point average or better for the semester while having taken at least half of his/her course credit hours at Greensboro College’s main campus.
Founded in 1838, Greensboro College provides a liberal arts education grounded in the traditions of the United Methodist Church and fosters the intellectual, social, and, spiritual development of all students while supporting their individual needs.

Orange Park native makes Dean's List
NEWBERRY, S.C. – Christian Tejada of Orange Park was named to the Dean’s List for the spring semester at Newberry College in Newberry, S.C.
Students receiving recognition on the Dean’s List at Newberry College had to achieve a grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale during the semester.
A total of 293 students earned Dean's List honors this semester.
Founded in 1856 by the Lutheran Church, Newberry College is a private, residential, co-educational college with a diverse student population.

Wright graduates from Ohio Christian University
