Middleburg’s Fields graduates from Kennesaw State

KENNESAW, Ga. – Nicholas Nicholas Fields of Middleburg graduated with a Certificate in Computer Science Foundations from Kennesaw State, the state's third largest higher education institution.
Nearly 1,500 students earned bachelor's, master's or doctoral degrees during the Summer 2020 semester, which concluded in July.

Harff to serve on Hamilton’s WHCL radio executive board

CLINTON, N.Y. – Green Cove Springs’ Amy Harff has been selected to serve on the executive board of Hamilton College's WHCL radio for the fall 2020 semester. Harff is serving as webmaster.
WHCL is a non-profit, student-run FM station that operates seven days a week, 24-hours-a-day when school is in session. The station offers music, sports, and public affairs programming and is housed in the Sadove Student Center on Hamilton's campus.
One out of every eight students works for WHCL, making it one of Hamilton's largest student organizations. Most of the station's staff consists of DJs who work a three-hour shift once each week.
Harff, a senior majoring in art and environmental studies, is a graduate of Wheeler School.

Middleburg’s Wynn on Valdosta State’s Dean's List

VALDOSTA, Ga. – Valdosta State University congratulates Cassidy Wynn of Middleburg for earning a spot on the Summer 2020 Dean's List.
Dean's List honors are reserved for the highest achieving students at VSU. Wynn is one of more than 300 distinguished and accomplished students recognized for exemplifying excellence in the attainment of their educational goals.
To qualify for Dean's List at VSU, students must achieve a semester grade point average of 3.50 or higher on nine or more semester hours with an institutional grade point average of 3.00 or higher. Please note that developmental studies, transient, and graduate students are not eligible for Dean's List status.
