Fleming Island’s Carwile on Belmont’s Dean’s List
NASHVILLE – Jared Carwile from Fleming Island High qualified for the Fall 2019 Dean's List at Belmont University.
Eligibility is based on a minimum course load of 12 hours and a quality grade point average of 3.5 with no grade below a C.
Approximately 38% of Belmont's 8,481 students qualified for the Fall 2019 Dean's List.
Belmont Provost Dr. Thomas Burns said, "This achievement for the fall semester indicates that these students have placed a high priority on their work at Belmont and have invested time and energy in their studies. It is our strong belief that consistent application in this manner will reap great benefits, which will equip them for a lifetime of learning and growing."
Fleming Island’s Davis on Dean’s List at Berry College
ROME, Ga. – Fleming Island High graduate Connor Davis was selected to the Fall Dean’s List at Berry College. The Dean’s List honors students who posted an academic average of 3.5 or better on a 4.0 scale while carrying at course load of at least 12 semester hours.
Nationally recognized for academic excellence and as an outstanding educational value, Berry is an independent, coeducational, comprehensive liberal arts college of approximately 2,100 students. For more than a century, the college has offered an exceptional education that balances intellectual exploration, practical learning, and character development. Austin earns her Master’s degree at Union University
JACKSON, Tenn. – Victoria Austin earned her Master’s degree in Christian Studies at Union University.
There were 288 students in the fall commencement services of the 195th graduating class at West Jackson Baptist Church.
Union is a liberal arts-based university affiliated with the Tennessee Baptist Convention. Founded in 1823, Union is the oldest institution relating to the Southern Baptist Convention.
Trejo graduates from Nebraksa-Lincoln
LINCOLN, Neb. – Danielle Trejo of Green Cove Springs was among 1,404 graduates who received degrees from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln during winter commencement exercises.
Trejo earned a Master of Legal Studies from the Office of Graduate Studies.
The December graduates are from 49 countries, 36 states and more than 150 Nebraska communities.
