Rounding Up for Hunger
GREEN COVE SPRINGS – Customers at the Hagan Ace hardware store in Green Cove Springs recently chipped in to fight hunger. Customers were asked to round up their bill to the nearest dollar amount during Feb 9-12 and raised $600 for the Food Pantry of Green Cove Springs. Pictured from left are food pantry volunteer Clare Sears, Hagan Ace Manager Joan Saunders and food pantry volunteer Winney Yaun.

JACKSONVILLE – The Jacksonville Automobile Dealers Association presented a $5,000 check to help fund the programs of the Clay County Sheriff's Office Police Activities League. CCSO Chief Gary Cross, from left, and Sheriff Darryl Daniels are shown here accepting “the check” from Nathan Potratz, JADA Treasurer and general manager of Gordon Chevrolet on Blanding Boulevard. Potratz presented the check at the Prime Osborn Center, home of the Jacksonville International Auto Show, which ran last weekend.
